I have the 2.4L 2001 Alero and I wanted to get a muffler put onto it to possibly mdify the sound to make it a little more aggressive, well, cool. I am on a limited budget therefor I cannot afford an entire system, and do not planning on budging for one in the future. I was looking at either Flowmaster or Magnaflow. But any muffler referenced to from experienced Alero owners would do. Any suggestions? Thank for the help! : )

Dynomax Super Turbo
That there will be THE best sounding and non-raspy/ricey muffler you can possibly buy, and still flow a lot.

Another quick question, what inlet/outlet size will i need? And does it make a difference if i get the single or dual outlet muffler? (sound/performance-wise)?

Inlet/outlet you should get whatever size you intend on upgrading to. Might just want to get a 2.25" in/out.
Also,

So basically, I am looking at a Dynomax Super Turbo Muffler. I am only looking to buy a muffler, therefore either a 2.25" or 2.5" I/O would both work regardless and have no real difference on performance or sound. Also, I am going to get a tip to put on it so no worries there. Just one final question, am I correct on there being no difference on which size to go with? I am only upgrading on the muffler, so no future mods in the exhaust after that.

If you have no plans to upgrade the rest of the exhaust system just get the 2.25". Stock piping is either 2" or 2.25".

The muffler your selling is Identical to mine it sounds sweet on the 2.2L with 2 1/4" piping so I assume it would sound just as good on the 2.4
