wooooohooooooo:yahoo: btw, what class should i go in? cause last time i put myself in mild and you guys put me down to stock......and i placed 3rd:( lol.......i probably wont even get a trophy this year with all the new aleros coming. My baby still needs the dings on the door fixed and some extensive cleaning of the interior. BUT i can guarantee my car will be the shiniest this year:ninja: last year i didnt even take it to the car wash i just wiped it down with a towel cause i was too lazy after driving 11 hours the night before;)

Billy based on the explaination of the class put your car in the class it fits into. We reclassed you last year due to a large amount in mild and not enough in stock. And if this situation rises again a reclassing of the cars at the show may need to be made.

hmm i don't know what all i'll have done by then. so far i've got the intake and exhaust system, but no exterior mods. would that just be stock or mild? i thought mild from the explanation earlier, but on the registration page it says for mild you have to have aftermarket rums, which i might have by then, but i don't yet.
and the extra 10 for show? which show is that? haha, sorry, noob here.

Just put stock, Scot can reclassify you if needed. I didn't see an additional charge for the Homecoming show except the $15 for the T-shirt.

this part:
Non-OCA member showing car: $40
Non-OCA member NOT showing car: $30
is that for the stock/mild/wild/whatever show?

I did not see that the first go around, it's the additional fee for the Olds Homecoming show which is the largest one day Oldsmobile car show on that Saturday, you don't want to miss it.

Yes you should, it will be fun and we will have a great Alero gathering. Usually the largest group overall. They definitely know when we show up.

to explain this for the noob...........
the extra $10 is to show your car in the alero show and homecoming show. If you register Not showing you will NOT be able to show your car in the Alero Show and the Homecoming show. However you can always register for the homecoming show at Homecoming but will cost you more money than $10. I hope that explains it.
I registered even though I may not be going.
I tacked on 5% for the gay ass PayPal fee, usually ~4.5%, for you Oldsman.

I'll be in stock and what exactly is showing vs not showing?
I just want to park my car and chill for a while, I don't want to show it off really I have no engine mods done only subs and headunit:lol:

showing lets you park next to everyone else at the homecoming show
and you get entered in for prizes at ASS
it's a lot better than "not showing" regardless of vehicle status

Stupid question but I gotta ask...
Does everyone else at the homecoming have to pay a group to show their cars?
Or is there car show police telling people they cant park next to this group of cars?
I must admit, Im not a fan of pay to show car shows. My Dad shows his car everywhere he can get to. One time they wanted him to pay to show it. Im like WTF, F that lets leave...

it's well organized, they probably won't like you driving by the person trying to hand out everyone's packets and info on where to park.

This is why there is the sock class for those of you that have no mods but still love your alero.
Showing includes being in the alero show and the homecoming show also you are signed up for the door prizes. It's only $10 more.

The cost for the Homecoming show is included in ASS registration when you register to show. We will all be parking together.
Far as paying car shows you have to pay in order for the club or organiztion to pay for the costs for the show. None paying show are called cruize ins and they have no costs to the organization or town in order to put it on.
