So when you do this do you leave off the wheel well cover? Doesn't that leave the CAI exposed to anything that gets kicked up into the wheel well? No one has ever had problems with this?

no no no, you put the wheel cover back on lmao. You don't want mud and crap getting in there.

I didn't even remove the fender liner when I put mine in. I just removed the little cover underneath the fog light, and removed the fog light itself. That made enough room to fit the filter in. Oh, you will have to remove your headlight to gain access to the bolts for the fog light. Plus this will allow you to be able to see what's going on.

i saw the directions on that website already, it seems like it is way too much to just put in a intake..why would i have to jack up the car??? sounds preposterous. and to be safe, i would need step by step pictures, someone please post!!

If you dont feel comfertable jacking your car up, then maybe you best be leaving your car stock.
the reason they want you to jack it up is to take the wheel off/get more room to work... allso to remove the inner fender...

um yea if ya cant jack your car up then dont buy parts for your car and expect to put em on... maybe your calling is "visa mechaic"

If you don't want to jack up your car, get a warm air intake. You need to get into your fender to install the CAI... otherwise it will be hard to get the stock intake parts out of there.

blah blah blah blah.

i installed my CAI last weekend without jacking the car up, took 30 min max. i turned the wheel all the way to the left, removed the 3 fasteners for the wheel well nearest the location where the filter would be inserted, and 2 little bolts underneat that holds the stock front end on. folded the wheel well cover back behind the wheel, pulled a little out on the front fender and slid the filter in. be sure the bottom tube is already attached, it'll make it easier.

not sure of the exact size of the filter, ask niach, i got it from him.

removed the headlight to see better, takes 2 seconds. installed the couplers and top tube, met with the bottom tube in the middle, and tightened down the coupler.

this is All after removing the stock air box and tubing, if you cant figure this out research it, or you probably shouldnt be modding your car.
