i know their is lots of threads on push start already but they all dont seem to have the answer i am looking for so simply put (in my eyes) if i am keeping the key cylinder and having a push bottion do i still need to bypass the passlock system or no?

also do i instal the push bottion before the key cylinder or after or dose it not matter at all i'm new to this stuff(first car) an really dont know

I would think yes, otherwise passlock would shut off the fuel supply.

ill give ya a hint, if you want a fully keyless push start your going to have to disable passlock on your car

Richie (Aftermath) might be able to help you some more too...he's got it on his car and I think has put it on other cars as well.

How much for the entire setup?

2-3 relays at $5 a piece (depending how many switches)
2-3 switches (depending on how many u want) anywhere from $5-50 depending on what type of style
then the actual momentary push start (i forget the actual amp rating on it) but they are around $15 for the cheaper waterproofed buttons that come with door poppers or around $45 for one from ebay that lights up and says "start engine"

ontop of all that your various wires and splicers if you dont have any, all together it costed me about $50 and 2 hours of time, although i drew out the whole job on paper before i started it
