i have some stains on my manifold cover. its driving me nuts its from degreasing the engine. ive tried a metal polish, wax, and soap to get these depreaser marks off. is there anyything that will work to clean this off it ruins the whole clean engine look. thanks for tips.

I like GooGone. Spray water, spray GooGone, wait a couple of minutes, use a rag to wash the stains, then rinse with water.

im taking off the oldsmobile lettering off my trunk will goo gone be safe for getting the glue off that or is it dangerous for paint?

thats' exactly what you use it for, of course it's not dangerous to paint

sweet i thought it would ruine the paint finish thanks. i hope it will help with the stains on the intake cover.

nope no damage on my paint, some spots may need a little bit of elbow grease but other than that it shouldn't be too hard.

for the engine any degeaser should work....I personally use a chrome wheel cleaner that has a mild corosive in it, but I'm careful not to leave it on to long. For the external...I use what everyone else use, and that is Goo Gone, even used it to get tint adhesive off of the window.
