Don't know exactly which way to respond to that...
The fact that the same exact question has been asked just last week, or to be floored that Cherry doesn't know an LED when he sees one :ninja:

Also I must confess.
Cliff was the first one that we know of to have a factory GPS unit in his car. I know he pulled his from a Buick and his backlighting is blue.
My backlighting is white and the screen is blue, like the interior lighting, I was told that it was blue backlite when I bought it, but I guess they were wrong.
It doesn't look too bad but I'm still going to ask around to see if I can change the color somehow :ninja:

If I would of known about a factory gps before I got my head unit I would of gotten that instead. looks good shouldn't be much longer until you get all the bugs worked out.

Thanks Matt

It's tight alright. I had to trim down the surroundings in the mounting box. I still have all the shavings in the car. It's been raining here and my vacuum sucks (or doesn't) anyway. It'll be raining tomorrow, but I'll stop at a gas station with a vac ;)

IDK what it's from and I said that :rolleyes2:
Anyway part number is 10348805, but like I said, backlighting is white. Part numbers are usually the same no matter what the color

now with that unit, to play a CD you have to eject the nav DVD? or is that in a different slot like the one in the 300? Also does it play MP3's? does it have an aux jack?

NO the DVD nav should be downloaded into the radio's brain and just push "nav" it type in everything.
It has no jack for MP3's or iPods. I was looking at this, but I want to reseach it a bit more first. This would be perfect, if it works, because I can replace the mirco pak with this, but the mirco pak uses one wire for the VSS and I hooked the ground for the relay into it too. If I can still use those plugs with this. I can install an iPod system in the car too.

That I don't know. It's locked right now and it won't do anything.
Wheather I get it scaned tomorrow or change the fuses, I'll let you know

I don't really care that much at all... It would actually be pretty standard considering I never did the write-up on the brake upgrade and I was the first one to do that too.
Also I must confess.

All the screens are blue like that regardless of the vehicle it comes from. I don't know if I've ever seen an INR with blue backlit buttons.
lucky bastard... it looks a little tight with the radio surround
That it does. Mine doesn't look as tight because the TNR is laid out a little different than the INR. Though a very small part of my screen is covered by the trim.
You have to actually trim out the edges of the plastic on the dash to get it to fit too. And I don't know with the INR, but with my TNR I actually had to trim the radio itself!!!
Anyway part number is 10348805, but like I said, backlighting is white. Part numbers are usually the same no matter what the color
You could potentially change it. The only difference I've found is that the LEDs are blue in the ones with the matching backlighting. Although they're surface mount, so that may be a problem.

You could always pop the VSS pin into that connector.

Yep, in order for navigation to function, the DVD must be inserted.
You can add aux inputs for both video and audio as well as specific ones for devices like iPods, CD changers, satellite and HD radio tuners.
so will it play MP3's on a cd?
Nope, no MP3 decoder

uhmm... honestly.. its a sexy mod.. but lookin at it all.. i'd rather just spend the 600+ to get a Kenwood CD/DVD/MP3/WMA Touch Screen Double DIN Deck w/ Nav and get the Ipod dock connector for 10 bucks from Crutchfield
