Black with White stripes or White with Black stripes?

So finally I've collected enough cash to start doing some basic mods such as a paint job and possibly some vinyl graphics. I know for a fact that I want a Black and White color scheme because I'm colorblind and it'd make me feel less handicapped when asked what color my car is lol. Anyways, here's my dilemma. I cant decide on wether I want a black base with white vinyl/detail or a white base with black vinyl/detail. So what do you guys think?

Yeah I don't know yet. I've seen some good ones but I've also seen some pretty bad ones. so it's up in the air still. Any opinion on color scheme?

Let me simplify what I'm trying to say lol. Forget the vinyl aspect. Let's say I wanted racing stripes with a new paint job. Would you want a black base coat with white racing stripes? Or. Would you want a white base coat with black racing stripes?

If you aboslutely have to have stripes, do black car with stripes in a lighter shade of black/grey. That way you can see it in certain lighting, but it doesn't scream "Hey, pull me over!!"

id go white with black stripes. temporarily had that on my car, 2 6inch wide black stripes centered down the length of the car, but decided solid white looked better. got a whole lot of compliments on it tho. good luck with whatever you choose.

i would also reccomend either a ghosted stripe... of vinyl that is more gunmetal... white on black and black on white has way too much contrast and is often interpretted as being gaudy

regardless of color scheme i sure hope you have the money for what your asking to have done, its not cheap thats for sure

Just find the hookups to do it cheap. It always seems like someone has a friend who has a brother that works at a bodyshop and has too much free time to do a job for $1000 or something.

Or go balls to the walls and try it yourself if you don't care how it ends up :P

eh stripes don't look so bad, but the one combination with black paint that seems to look nice is a really light silver set of stripes, almost white looking..

black with white stripes and DEF. get them ghosted on....that would look bad ass. (good job cherry, you actually came up with a good idea! ;) ). then to complete the job get some all black rims and tint the windows :)

Black car with white stripes would like nice. Maybe dual white pin stripes down both side of the car or dual thick racing stripes down the hood, roof, and trunk - maybe coming to a point at the nose.

i say black with silver, are you doing two stripes if so, set each stripe off iwth a pin stripe on the outter side of each, that way it blends in more and appears natural.

Rofl. I meant that hypothetically when I said I was gonna get stripes. I know that I want some kind of stripes or graphic or something on my car. I was just trying to see what people would think would look better. Black on white, or White on black. Either way I got a pretty good response and a lot of suggestions for racing stripes xD.
