Yo, so I'm thinking about putting a pair of racing seats in my baby, I've started overhauling the interior, all vents and plastic inserts are going to be painted black, then stenciled with white veined design. Pics hopefully by the end of the week.

I have a couple concerns about the seats ;
1. Would there be any way to adapt them to the power seat? ( I'm short 5'4")
2. What kind of material should be used in fabricating the rail/slider apapters?
3. If using a harness, how would you anchor them the safest way, without getting into rollbars or reinfrocements?
4. Would the current seat belt application work for a short period of time? ( Till I get harnesses)
5. If anyone has them installed, could I get some pic of the assembly under the seats, might help me figure out if I want to get into this.

Thanks!!

1. Possibly but only the forward/back motion...
2. Non-flimsy metal from the hardware store like I said. You can use a big sheet of MDF to make a template to make the metal strips easier to line up.
3. The side straps are mounted to the seat brackets or a new heavy duty slot is welded to the unibody, and the upper straps are mounted to the rear seat buckle mounting points if not using a harness bar/cage.
4. Yes.... you're not changing anything about them...
5. When you take the seat off you'll find out how easy it is. I might take off my seat and take a picture to show you.

I have a pair of seat belts that I'll sell you for 40 bucks shipped. They are not name brand but are the 3" belts and are blue in color.
Just let me know.

Where would you get a Mounting Bracket for the alero? Because I know the OTTO-R's don't fit up.

You make it.... you use the stock slider/bracket assembly. Just add metal to bolt the seats to and bolt that metal to the stock slider/brackets. It's ULTRA simple.
