so me and my sis were driving to meet up my parents who were camping, then all of a sudden, pop and grind! so once we got pulled over this is what i saw, and then the highway patrol made me drive off the freeway on the rim, luckily there no damage to the rim even after that quarter mile drive. the header panels cracked, theres no backing to that headlight, the fender liners are MIA and the fenders gotta be bent back to shape. just thought i share. it shouldnt take me a day, after i hit the junk yard

PappaSmurf
05-26-2009, 03:18 AM
Understand that, hopefully good top of the line tires with a warranty no matter what state your in, hahahaha.

Instead of the fenders, you should line your trunk with gold and then pput the carpet back on and see how much it shines through. LMAO

when driving on roads that are congested and packed or a busy highway when others are over the speed limit keeping in the flow of traffic may require surpassing speed limits... which i would think would be better than getting ran over or rear ended :)

Dhoyle
05-26-2009, 11:04 AM
eh i was off by 5 mph, but like work said, say your going threw miami, you gotta keep up with the traffic or u will get rear ended, threw there people haul ass

05-26-2009, 11:18 AM
yeah i hate rush hour traffic on I75 here in between cincy and dayton unless your doing 70-80 you will get ran over... the other problem is you are within feet of other cars all around so no room for error... i hate rush hour highway

Nate's Alero
05-26-2009, 11:46 AM
Rush hour traffic breaks the rule's all the time, the slowest is 80 mph

Wow all that damage from a blow out.....you would have been better off hitting a deer, or a truck. They need to start crash testing these things from the inside out now. Glad yall are ok....Good luck with repairs!

Japanese Brand tire:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bridgestone

They do have a factory in China and India, etc. Could still be a thirld world country tire.

jrim
05-28-2009, 09:54 AM
Yeah, the only reason I didn't skimp when I got new tires for my rims is because of what someone else said somewhere on this forum: "people forget tires are the only thing between the car and the ground, they're tremendously important and affect acceleration, traction, etc".. let this be a lesson to us all :P

05-28-2009, 10:20 AM
