aye so its pretty easy right? i got a can comin in the mail, how long did it take u to do em?
worknprog.99
06-05-2009, 12:52 AM
easy
1. remove tails
2. clean with a little alcohol
3. apply thin coats of night shades in even swipes approx. 6- 8 inches above tail.
4. let coats dry
5. keep repeating coats till desired darkness.
6. either sand with really high grid wetsand and polish or have a urithane finish like mine...(drove around with night shades only no sanding or urithane for about 6 months it just looks "flat black")
7. put back it and admire lol

Yeah that would be fun. LMAO
They didnt have it at the store near where I live but I am down here at my parents for the week and just stopped in to see what they had, and lo and behold the last can of niteshades. LOL
I am just wondering how much of it I am actually going to use if i spray mine like work said with 10 coats. Maybe I should go back and see if they have another can...LOL

How much time did you wait between coats and for the final dry time?

I'd worry about peeling eventually if you didn't sand the tails before shooting niteshade, but I've never doe it so I dunno how tough the stuff is. Looks like it turned out really good though!
