Hey sorry guys, schools been kicking my ass!!! i come on and check stuff out but don't really post too often.

As for the turbo, well lets just say that its gonna be a whole nother story after winter! I spun a rod, so doing pistons, conrods, clevite77, clutch, flywheel. Kinda get where i'm going? oh yeah! i'll be broke as hell but oh well! if your wondering no head work yet, can't really afford it, cause i would do the cams and major porting and polishing. I've already got the 2.3HO intake manifold and throttle body but i'm gonna hold off, unless i get the motor work done early, then maybe do the intake manifold. i've got everything but the pistons and clutch, but go pretty much everythign else, can't wait! oh yeah one more thing, a huge ass front mount intercooler!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Could be a lot of reason silent. They just not aware of it. Might not understand who is invited. Or in my case being threatened by another member. Sorry to say If I keep getting threats I'm leaving aleromod.

Well, Chicago is a three hour drive for me, four for Overdrive, so it has to sound like a real good time to come down there. And a lot of people just don't have the time, or aren't that serious about their car.

As for threats, some people can be asses. They should try to forget what's happened in the past and move on. You haven't really pissed anyone off in a couple days. ;)

but yea, I know the MI people might not have time, but we have meets 4-5 times a year and usually its the same 4-5 people everytime. Just for one meeting id like to have alot more but meh, its only if ppl can get time

lol, hmm a record breaker for me not get anyone mad in a couple days. lol. There should be more meets to do things, for the chicago people. perhaps for michigan, illinois, indiana, and wisconsin people to meet we should find a half way point for everyone too meet up. Or take turns in where i'ts gonna be. But if it's in wisconsin that might be hard for the michigan people. I think once we are all comfortable with each other and some people stop holding grudges"(that person knows who he is") we should make something into a weekend thing. Like in the summer go on a camping trip to the indiana dunes, the michigan dunes. Do great american weekend and stay at the illinois state park hotel. Something cool rent out a few rooms for the weekend and just have fun. Fighting yelling, will not be allowed.

we have done the dunes thing, had a picinic, have done several things and it is always the same people. it is a same. Yea not everyone is into their cars as much but if they post on the board regularly they must have some interest.

Hell 2nd Alero had a meet in MI and it was a flop.

We have done a lot of different things. Midwest meets are just sad.

yeah, sorry to everyone for never making it out to anything yet. For me it's just a simple matter of time and money. I live by Morris, but work in Chicago Ridge in a school district. So M-F 8-4:30. Then my money all goes towards my HUGE DEBT! Anyway, I've got a line on a nice new job, hopefully. Then I hope to be able to get out this time 'round.

After driving out to the Ft. Wayne, IN. meet I'm not much for driving so far to a meet that there's only a few people was a waste of gas, miles, and time. I had fun with a couple of the guys but if there was more people it would have been much more fun and there would have been stuff to do.

The meets that are extremely fun are those in IL.!!!!!

I"m getting very picky where I drive because my alero is getting up in miles. 74k on my 00. I think a comedy club for the illionios members will be cool, or a night out in downtown would be sweet. Like renting a limo and stuff. But i think chicago people need to get together more often so we all know each other better.

Oh, yeah -the chi-town people really know how to have fun...i totally agree with fiesty. Why not try something cool like the comedy club or even something like dave&busters, or even going out to eat and having drinks. But going to Hooters should be fun plus I love their chicken wings.
