I've searched the forum and the engine and for the life of me i cant find the thermostat housing? Where the F&%* is it?:hissyfit:

Should be where the upper radiator hose enters the engine block

i know on a 2.4 its kinda a pita, but it could be better on a 2.2

You don't really want to do a thermostat on the Ecotec unless you have a good chunk of time..
1 - If it has an automatic transmission, remove the exhaust manifold
2 - Remove the thermostat housing to water pump feed pipe.
The thermostat will just pull right out after that.

there is a diagram on autozone website but its still hard to find it
