visions is having a sale... he's my choices

get some Polk Audio DB series 6x9s for $48 appearantly

or get some Pioneer Premier D series 6x9s for $98

http://flyerservices.visions.ca/Publications/ThisWeeksPublication/Region_1/pg_3.html

now... i don't have exact models on either... but here is what i think they are

Pioneer http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Products/CarAudioVideo/Speakers/D-Series/Pioneer/TS-D6902R?tab=B

Polk (DB 691) http://www.polkaudio.com/caraudio/db/specs.php#coaxialo

anyone ever try either of these... i'm leaning towards the polk ones because they are cheaper... but also have a higher rms rating

Never messed with Polk products but from my experiences and observations, stay away from anything Pioneer. If your going with 6x9s, I'd recommend JLs. You can pick up a set for right around $70 at a dealer, 2-ways I believe. I've had my set in the back for almost two years now and I love them, great fillers.

Yeah your right, I was thinking of that 4" speaker they had at the local shop. But you can get them online for $99, as well as good deals on other brands. But I think those Polks would be worth it. What do you have for speakers in the front?

I've got some 5.25" kicker components up front running on a 75w rms per channel.

pioneer isnt bad. its just not high end. good solid middle ground.

when in doubt, i message ryanfromohio, as a check. hes the local audio guru, and is well versedn in many companies. (might also be able to get you decent stuff at a good price)

Get the Polks.

You dont want anything to big/fancy in the back anyhow. These will work perfect.
