the wire will come out just behind the fuse box, under the hood. The one I point at can be used, or the smaller gray one, just below it. EITHER!

Stop using the door frame!

Maybe its just me but I really hate the idea of cutting into a grommet. I just don't trust that it's not half as good as drilling a new hole into the firewall when you've got all that room on the firewall next to that grommet.

either way. but not everyone has a drillbit that'll go through metal like that. grommet requires 0 tools.

You can't just use a drill bit, you need a hole saw. Knifes are not tools anymore?

You just spent all that money on a system you should be able to spring for the 5.72$ hole saw.

i didn't use a knife on mine, just pushed it through.

on adria's (the video) i did use some long pliers to widen the hole a little...

Too many wires in one grommet just makes the hole wider and less fun for everyone... but that is the goal to push as many in there at once without having to go around the side and be unsafe...

giggity.

Just make sure your wire still has some rubber on it

No rubber could cause a premature pop....someone could get hurt....that's all I'm saying..lol

Haha, just installed my system after a year of gathering it all and getting an install kit. I was seriously thinking I was about to have to put the car stands to drill through the firewall below somewhere.

Eventually I just went the easier but less fun and time consuming way and put it through where the other wires went through and located where it was on the other side.
