nop i have a 2004 mazda mpv 3.0 and i think 1 of the coils is bad and i want to know how can i check them so i can change it :rolleyes2:

pull all the plugs out, and crank, watch for spark, no spark means bad coil

adria, so you are saying that if i take the three DIS coils off my alero, and bring them in they can test them for me (i've been having a, "hard cold starting" issue for quite some time, it started good yesterday, but we will see about today.)

Yeah they can.. You could do it yourself too. It's just a primary and secondary resistance check.
