Ohio Car Shows

Several people have mentioned in other threads that they would be interested in getting together around Cincy for a meet. I've been looking around to see what is going on that we could get together for. This is what I've come up with so far. The info below is taken off of www.ohiocarclubs.com if you wanna check it out for yourself.

August 7th & 8th:
Middletown Motorsports Park in Monroe, Ohio. It's 30 miles north of Cincy.
This is what they're having... burnout contest, neon contest, stereo competition, and yes, even a Miss North American Nationals Bikini. :thumbsup: Here (http://www.mta.webhop.org) is their website to check out entry fees if you are planning on showing.

August 21st
2nd Annual W.T. Park Car Show, 937 Ohio Pike, in Cincinnati, Ohio. All the proceeds for this one go to the community park softball, baseball, fastpitch, and football programs. It's from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm. $10 pre-entry fee or $12 on the day of the show. There are several different classes for trophies, again, if you want to show.

i dont think i'll be able to make it to either of those shows, since i'll be going to indy bash august 13-15. i dont think i can afford to miss work 2 weekends in a row.

u guys should all just go to indy, it's a much better show than those other 2 shows in ohio, and probably isnt too much farther of a drive for most people.

I could definitely do a indy meet since I live here. To bad its not in September because I am building a house which would be done by then, but right now I am just in an apartment :(.

I'll go to the one on the 21st for sure. And I could probably swing the Indy one also. I'm kinda short on time right now but I'll look back over this later tonight and start a list. Those of you that are a "for sure" on the 21st, let me know. I'll have to check on getting a room too b/c if it's gonna be late, I don't wanna drive back home. And I'll do some research on the Indy one also.

ok here's where i stand on all this. i will be going to the one on the 21st in cincy. i doubt i'll be going to the one in indy because i'm already going to see some friends up near chicago this month and hoping to meet up with heather from aleromod and go to the races in joilet while i'm in illinois that weekend. and more than likely i'm going to see my cousin at ft. bragg this month as well. so i don't think i'll be going to indy. unless, everyone that is interested would like to skip the cincy one all together and just hit the indy bash. what do you guys think?

me jealous? when it comes to you, i have NOTHING to be jealous about. and when i was talking about meeting friends in chicago and family in NC, i was explaining why i wouldn't be able to do the indy bash. now if you don't mind, would you please find another thread to hijack? better yet, entertain yourself by looking at the thread i started in the showcase forum. since you always have something negative to say when it involves me, that one should keep you busy for a while. ;)

you're right, but as a young impressionable kid, you tend to only remember extremely good/bad things... i'm sure most of dayton is cool, i was just too young to expirience it.

i sent out an email last week for more information on the 21st show and they sent me a reply. for the ones that are gonna go, if you wanna put your car in the show, let me know. i have a form that i can email to you and you can just email it back to them. my car isn't "show" material so i won't be showing, just observing.

most people are going to the cincy show but it looks as if there may be just a few going to the indy show as well.

Can we please stay on topic here? If you guys want to talk about people and where they are from, start a thread and do it there. This is about car shows, not about your opinions on people and where they are from. Formula, I don't make sarcastic remarks about you, have some respect for once in your life, and keep any comments you have about me, to yourself, or at least voice them to someone who cares.
