My cruise control on/off button won't stay down when I press it. Thus, I've been taping it down with electrical tape when I go on trips. I don't really like this and the dealership says they can't replace just the button. Anyone know how to replace this damned thing? TIA

Firestone replaced mine for like $60 including labor.

This broke on mine too. I'm gonna bring it in tomorrow since I have 59450 miles and a 60000 mile warranty. Need to get this fixed, the dome light, the AC resistor, and have them figure out why my SES light came on today.

Super glue works great. :-) It's been going strong for six months now on mine.

We've had a lot of people with this same issue. The button seems to have too much slack, and thus as the switch wears down the gap is too tall and doesn't close the circuit properly.
I've always advised people just to leave the cruise control on all the time to avoid this potential headache.
