Alright, I asked this question in another thread but only got one response. What color should I paint the calipers? Someone suggested black... I was thinking either that or the color of my car... Let me know what you think.

Thanks in advance... ;)

i don't know how easy it will be to get that maroon/dark red shade with caliper paint. if worse comes to worse, you could always go with plain red and go for the fake-brembo calipers look.

I think black, it would match the windows and headlight covers now.

I have been looking for maroon/ruby red, and have not been able to...
Please post where, if you find it.

you probably won't find a hi temp match to ruby red. If you do find some, let me know :)

well for all of us ruby red alero owners looking for caliper paint to match our cars..... guess what? i do believe that we are SOL. i have looked at every friggin auto store in the area, and called my friend that owns an auto customizing shop and HE can't even find it. he called some of his people and THEY couldn't find it. so....... i bought black. i won't be able to get it done this weekend but i will get them painted on monday. i'll post some pics afterwards. thanks for all your input!!

Paint the color of your car

Black wouldn't show up too much

I painted my capliers red and the brackets black. I only did the back so far but that will look good for the front
