i have contacted a company that is willing to produce some carbon fiber products for our cars. if you would like to check them out their website is carbontrix.com. i talked to the owner over the phone today and he said that all we have to do is have 20 of whatever products that we would want produced and he would be able to do it. he said that the only product that was mentioned that he would not be able to do is a carbon fiber hood, but i am going to keep looking for a company to do one of those. if anyone has any questions you can email me at golie900@yahoo.com or message me here. i am really looking forward to getting some responses to this. like i said just go and check out the website and look at some of the products they have produced for other cars.

Are you saying we have to give him a list of twenty things we would like "CF-ed" before production starts?

/\ /\ 20 preorders for a single type of piece, is my guess. Good luck with that. Not trying to kill your confidence, but it's been tried on here.

its not going to be as expensive as a cf hood. its little things like a pillars and not just the drivers side. engine accesories and dashes and whatever you want. all you have to do is let me know and we can get it done. i know there are at least 20 people here that would like something carbon fiber. what if he were to make a cf body kit? i was going to contact carbon creations but i found this company first.

I would be interested in a carbon fiber body kit, as long as it can be painted of course.....price really dont matter, considering the car would prolly weigh a 50-75 lbs lighter, which would be worth it to me to make up for the added weight of my system lol, keep us updated on what can be made......

It's the little things....

Carbon fiber coolant resevoir, carbon fiber fuse box lid. Subtle things like that would clean up under the hood nicely.

just check out carbontrix.com and look at some of the products they have there. if we can start a list or just reply to what you would like to see produced we can take the top 5 or so and then poll to see what is most likely to be bought. i mainly want a pillar pods and engine dress up. the dash will be to expensive to get done.

I'm interested as long as it's not some $800 hood BS or anything. As long as we don't get some stupid jacked-up prices becasue they're the only company that makes the parts.

that project was started by me and died due to the lack of interest, oh yeah i also tryed to get one going for a few carbon fiber engine accessories, covers, etc, and nobody was interested in that...oh well.....anyways, i will continue on by myself with a custom "hybrid" carbon fiber/fiberglass hood with the ss hood scoop....

the only carbon fiber product I want is a hood, let me know if you find a place that will make one for a reasonable price

he wont be able to give me prices until we know what we are wanting to be produced. my car will eventually be as much carbon as i can find. i am going to contact carbon creations about getting a body kit for our cars. i know they are looking for a sponsored vehicle right now at extreme dimensions (http://www.extremedimension.com) but their sponsorship is hard to get. i am going to get some pictures together and get them a proposal but i have to get a little bit more exposure yet. these town shows aren't cutting it.

i also want a hood... around 800, could put up half up front.

oh, and if you need ppl, i'll get in on anything under hood dress up... or interior.... as long as the prices are reasonable

okay, so i have some good feedback now. if anyone else is interested let me know. i think i'm up to five people. i will contact carbontrix this week and talk to him about what exactly he would be willing to do and prices. as soon as i find out some information i will let everyone know. thanks for all the help everyone.

p.s. sorry i haven't been on here in a while, my club just had our first car show and we were all stressed about it but it went really well. we raised over 1300 dollars and had over 50 entries. like i said it was our first show and we had alot of feedback on it.
