Exhaust Tips With Stock Exhaust?

Well I was looking at my exhaust today, and its rusted to hell. Really looks like crap. Can you put any exhaust tips on the stock one?

Yeah, just goto your local Autozone or comparable auto parts store, and look. There are 2 options available, in various shapes and sizes: Chromed steel ( really cheap, but for a reason, the insides rust ) , and Stainless ( won't rust @ all )

I got a pair of the cheapies on my car, just to look a little better until I get crackin on my exhaust setup....


*NOTE* if you never intend on changing the exhaust, you can get away with leaving the cheapies on there if you purchase a set that angles down, like mine.....that way you never actually see the surface rust on the inside of the tip.

what do we need? 2.5 or 2 1/4? for stock, oh and its a 3.4 i doubt that matters tho, i think all the models have the same exhaust..

Mine? I think around $4.00-$7.00 each....no biggie. They have 2 holes tapped into them, with set-screws included....they install in about a minute with a screwdriver.

koruptid to you have a side pic close up, ?

Youngblood77 or koruptid how do you use the screws it comes with? they look a little to long? Wouldn't they stick out, since they only have to go in about 4 mm's
