I work for a steel/aluminum manufacturing company and it would not take long to get a switch plate designed, formed, and powdercoated....prices would be real affordable, depending upon how many people would be interested....I can only have them done in one color, but the color options available range from blue, green, black, silver, creme, white, orange, red, metallic silver, protech silver, etc....throw ur ideas out on how many holes u would like for switches, colors, etc...

More than likely the color will be narrowed to black or silver....just need to determine how many slots for switches everyone would like and if there are any special things they might like done to them....the panel themselves will be basic one piece metal that will look like an upside down L....my logic is to put my switch panel below my radio where there is that little opening that comes w/ the GM kit for aftermarket radios...where the switch panel will fit in between that slot or gap thats there....throw ideas at me though if theres something better...

Im curious as to where everyone would plan on putting their switchplate, because that would determine what kind of bends and all would be needed....thankfully my uncle also works at the same place and hes a designer and has programs he can do it all on....I just really need to know where people would put them in their car and what color, prices will be able to be determined after that.....

If you made them fit inside the cubby hole, I'd be interested....

That can be done, just a matter of where everyone else would like them to fit....i am assuming the cubby hole right below the radio correct?

under the radio u dont need to bend anything...just get the dimensions right for the cutout and switches...
the cubby it would almost have to be a curved flexplate with 2 tabs to go into the sides maybe

Yep. I'm making one right now with plexi and a heat gun, and I plan on covering it with vinyl. I'm actually making it cutout to fit my sirius radio controller & the switches from your switchpanel :)
I'm gonna use my radio space for some other project in the very near future.

flexplate wouldnt be needed, amazing the bends and all we can put on even the thinnest metal w/out breaking it....if anyone needs anything powdercoated let me know, I can get it done at a discounted price......ie wheels, etc.....

I see some interest...I just need to know where people will be placing them exactly, so I can have them fabricated to fit in those spots, thus making it easier...plus it wont cost any more to have them fabricated for a certain spot....unless everyone would just like a plain switch panel that they can put anywhere....BTW I need to also know how many switches everyone would like to have on their panels...... as many as 6 or as few as 3....fire away...the quicker the info...the quicker the project starts and finishes....which if not soon could not start at all, we are moving to a bigger facility in the next month
