Well.....the front drivers side of my car looks like the Dalorian from Back to the future now. How the wheels fold underneath. I hit a curb the other night sooo now im screwed for 2 weeks probably. I brok the tie ford, the strut mount, bent the control arm, cut the brake lines, and of course scraped up the rim.....it sucks, i miss the car already.

So sort of like this but on the other side?

Mines just from the tie rod snapping and then me not having any control and spinning down an embankment.
It sucks. And your looking at close to $2700 in damage. Thats how much mine was, but I didn't have any body damage. Luckily I got Oldsmobile to pay for mine because it was a defective part.
Mine was out of commision for a month. So hopefully you get yours fixed a lot quicker.
Well, I had some body damage, the side skirt broke off and the black thing in front broke a bit. My wheel wasn't damaged at all though, thank you snow.

yea...mine looks alot like that.....the estimate from the dealer was between 3000 and 4000 but i've got it a different shop now that will be priced waaaaaaaaay better. Luckily there was no body damage
I hit the curb because i had to cut a turn REALLY short because a car pulled out in front of me then i lost control and ended up htting it going about 30 mph
Smokin, yours cost 2700 JUST for the tie rod to be replaced???

Dude, look at the damage.....
Does that look like just the tie rod?
No, the tie rod snapping is what caused the accident.
Tie rod, lower and upper A-arm, strut, brake line, couple other things. Parts wise the cost wasn't bad, but I got bent over on labor.

replacing the tie rod cost about $200; parts and labor.

alright thats what i thought but the way you stated it it sounded a little un-clear
hopefully mine will be priced alot cheaper than your because the shop i took it to guranteed me that their labor would be half of the the dealers is and they will try to use used parts to keep the cost down.

I hit a curb this past winter and did about 600 - 700 worth of damage, maybe more because some of the problems I am having now might still relate to that.

I hit a curb last October and went w/out my car for almost a month. Posted the pics here then, but you couldn't really see the damage. All and all I had $3500 damage done to the front end but no body damage. Car rides hella better now than when I got it!

Well turns out i got pretty lucky, I actually got my car back today it didn't even take a week. They replaced the left lower control arm, left cv axle, left spindle, the outter tie rod, and the brake hose. With parts and labor it only ended up costing me 855 dollars, way better than the 4400 dollar estimate from the dealer.
I forgot to mention that the day i hit the curb i had just got my exhaust all finished up. So i'll have to get some pics of that on here soon so i can see what you guys think.

I seriously hate you.
Just because you got your car back so fast. I didn't have to pay for mine, but still. You got your car back so much faster then I did.
