If you want I could bring you a soy burger but I am not that into eating them, I only brought then to "FIT IN" and CLLLLEEEEARING that worked. Eating lots of soy is not really that good for you. I am more into raw food.

As for high in protein, for something that is made from plants YES its high in protein. When you talk about protein there is a differers between plant protein and meat protein. Also have in mind that your body can only handle 20 to 30 grams per hour, so eating anymore than that can be harm full to your body, and the excess protein gets processed through your kidneys turning into ammonia or turned into FAT.

I think we all understand the concern regarding meets in the immediate future but know this, the last situation is being handled correctly and that issue is being resolved.

As for this meet, this is about Jackal and for Jackal, nothing will stop this meet from happening.

For some of you not up on the stats: Jackal has been a long time member to the Aleromod community, additionally, has not missed an ASS in 6 years, this year he could not make it because he was in Baghdad making sure we are safe.

I've been wanting to fly out to a meet since the last time I was at Scot and Mo's house, of cousre I drove that time since we were in the SE Michigan area that weekend visiting linda's friends.

I think Linda will be all for me going but not her. Her friend will be having her baby sometime after that and her and Adam will be flying out to see them and help her out for a weekend or so ;)

I might, but I just got laid off on monday, and decided to be lazy the past three days especially for my birthday and change the plugs and wires.. But I think I'm going to put my original plugs back in tomorrow and wait til autozone or who ever get the ones I want in stock.

I guess the point of the above paragraph (if you can call it that) was to state I finally got off my @ss today and decided to get the form for unemployment, but I dont really want to live off that BS so I have already applied for 3-4 jobs before and after getting laid off... I do need some encouragement if anybody wants to give it...:P sorry for thread jacking...

that was really inspiring, they called me a couple of hours ago and asked me to come back:D not the greatest job in the world, but I have been looking online all day and have applied to 2-3 different jobs ranging from welding to manufacturing to computers.. so we will see how it goes.. Ill keep everybody posted especially if I get this job doing TIG welding and Brake Press...

i really would, but when i moved out here my transfer through work wasn't done yet... or as i found out, wasn't even started. i drained my account on the move, and currently have about 75 bucks left until i can get to work and get a paycheck.

Spent 6 hours cleaning the car and doing an oil change, was very happy when I got an old paint stain out of the back seat with my SD-20, man I love that stuff. It was red touch up paint that I used on the old glass box couple of years ago.

Well my 2 hour flight was only 1 hour and 20 minutes due to the 100 knot tail wind. However I got lost in Philly Airport because I carried on and didn't have to go to the baggage claim. Then I got lost in the parking lot leaving. The parking lot is about 2 square miles and only 1 exit sign (FTL)

I still didn't make it home until 3. I stopped at Geno's in South Philly and bought cheesesteaks for Linda and I. Parking in South Philly is tight, plus Geno's was PACKED!! Pat's across the street was even more packed (but I don't like Pat's)

Got home safe and sound after the drive thru the city. The neigbhoods I drove thru aren't bad, but the driver's are.

Scot and Mo! HAD A BLAST!! Scot and I talked Alero for about 20 minutes and then Olds 330's and 425's for about an hour and a half Friday night. Then on Saturday nite, I think we spent about 2 hours total time with the cars. The people from Aleromod at the party are all becoming so tight it's more like family. Mo said it best when she swatted Scot's Ho ( :lol: ) We are all comming from different backrounds and ideas of life, but yet we all come together and have a great time. After the Aleros are gone, we'll still be friends. Of course some of us won't see each other as much as we'd like (ie ME!) but yes we still will get together!

The things people say, "thank you for your service" and "welcome home" will NEVER show you or even come within fractions of how we truly feel towards your service for this great country. I know how it made me feel to hear the welcomes and thank yous. I even plan on returning to the service after I have completed college, this time as CID straight from OCS. Hopefully one day I can meet you and shake your hand personally.
ALSO, get some rims for your ho. She deserves it, LOL.
