I am currently out in my garage trying to put my sway bars on and I ran into a head scratcher, how do you put on the rear bar? I see that one nut comes off but the other is just a bolt. I don't have to pull the whole strut out do I?

Quick responses are much appreciated :)

It takes a bit of fannegelling to get the bar into place, but you don't need to remove the strut. There are the two endlink bolts that you have to remove (preferably before jacking the car up) and then two nuts that hold the midpoint brackets/bushings to the subframe. Just take your time; you'll get it.
It'll basically look like the pictures when you are done. Note that the endlinks (the things that look like twisted dogbones) are side-specific and need to go back on exactly how they came off.

Maybe I used the wrong term...it's actually the aftermarket parts for the tower...strut bracer? I'm sorry mfuller...thank you much for the response though...my fault...and I really hope you already had those pics bc I'm going to feel bad if you went out to take them :(

I tried to take pics of what I'm talking about but the area is to small and the flash blinds the camera and it's way to dark not to use it

No worries; I had those pictures. So it's the rear strut tower brace, eh? I don't think I have a picture of that, and my car is not here now so I can't snap a new pic. What brand of rear bar do you have?

They are the rsm's I recently got off of battistoni21...you know how there are 2 bolts on the rear tower that come up through and the nut is welded on the frame...idk how I am supposed to attatch the 2nd hole of the bar itself to the tower

you need to find nuts that will fit on the bolts.

i've been running like this for 4 yrs.

I've never seen a RSM rear bar....can you post a pic of the plate that bolts to the strut tower so I know what we are looking at?

jab, did you put washers under the plate to make it all sit even?

Okay...that's a bit different. You may want to ask the guy that you bought 'em from.

no the way mine are designed is they are cut to around the factory mounting points and they sit flush to the top of the strut tower, i used the nuts and washers to keep them secured flat to the top of the tower.

yours should work somewhat the same, the hole closest to the bar goes on the stud, and the other mounting hole should go over the bolt and held in place with a nut.
