Okay, so I need some opinions. Keep in mind these are just ideas:
So I just stripped a ga, and have ALOT of parts now some that I dont need, so I had a couple Ideas.

Most of it is polishing because I polished my upper intake before I painted it and I liked it
So I was thinking about polishing the:
Front calipers (shaving them too)
Lower control arms
Oil pan, and some custom paint on the cradle with maybe a few custom touches.
Now your probably thinking, wtf why would you do any of that!
ANSWER: Because I can. I'm bored have time and extra parts, And I like mods that takes someone who knows what their looking at to see. small touches like shaving a line or moving a harness. that kind of stuff, so let me know what you think

Why would you polish the brake rotors? Thats like brushing your teeth before you jump off a cliff.

How are you doing the polishing? Sounds nice though, I'd love to see polished calipers.

well my plan is to shave the fins off of them, then just some good old elbow grease. Start at a rough grit paper and work my way to finer and finer, then use some kind of protector/clear.. Will talk to the body guys at my shop tomorrow to get their opinion on what to use

Be sure to use heat proof clear coat or it will turn yellow.

I will post pictures tonight when I get home. It failed do to the fact it looks like ass and tacky. The only way I could see this looking good is if you had 18+ Black rims. Then the caliper would pop out. But when you have chrome rims it just blends in. I just did a mock up, so for now I'm done with it, So now it will sit on the bottom shelf of my work bench until boredom strikes.

black car, chrome rims... do a black caliper with chrome accents. (the fins in chrome or something)

That would work. Got to get more calipers as I shaved all the fins of these test ones

could also do some kind of pattern on the existing ones. if you have some graphic you like, or some kind of theme pattern.

tape it off, paint black, then pull the tape off for a slick chrome underlay...
