I've been getting a lot of questions on this so instead of explaining it, here are some pics.

WAI to CAI.

Go to your WAI intake:

Install elbow or turn elbow if stored under the hood.

Tighten hose clamps as pointed to in 3rd pic

Tighen hose clamps between elbow and downpipe

You are done, you now have converted a WAI to a CAI.

For race purposes, I remove the fender liner and the foglight.

The fender liner is held in by about 10 to 12, 10 mm bolts and 3 body rivits. There is one bolt on the top, two in the body of the car, all the rest are along the bottom.

The foglight is held in by 2 10 mm bolts, undo and unplug. Foglight can be removed from top or bottom, Really easy to get to if headlight is removed

I know, the mesh was burnt on that part of the filter. I went to clean the filter anyway, after I was done I noticed small holes in the filter element, so I chucked it and ordered a new one ;) I think this was causing my missing issue. I just got the new coils on Saturday, but I def need new ones anyway

BTW that termial is for the train horn power. The regular power for the car is on the side termial

HELL NO!! That's so rice and my IS NOT RICED! My piping was looking a bit old and marked up so I had it powder coated. I still have yet to find decent couplers

I believe your talking about the tubing for the CAI, when your using the WAI..

why bother covering it? its not going to hurt anything. MAYBE it'll blow some cold air under your hood... thats about it.
