View Full Version : Ciggarte lighter [HELP PLSE]

neither of my Ciggarte lighter's are working.. i got sum led gauges and went to wire them in and decided not to(long story) so i jus rewired the ciggarte lighter back(the one by passanger feet) and now neither of them will work :cry: :cry: can anyone help me plse:( btw i checked the two fuse pannals neither of them had any blown fuses:(

Did you check the fuse box under the hood. I'm pretty sure that's were the dig lighter/aux power fuse is

ok so if your standing in front of your car looking into the car from the engine bay its in the upper right hand corner, it has a small round thing on the top to which you screw off and pull the whole cover off.

Im pretty sure that its fuse number 34 but if i were you i would double check

It must be the fuse from the box under the hood. I was wiring neons before and then I removed them, tried connecting my cell charger and the cigarette lighter was out. Checked the fuse (for aux) and it was black-blown to the max.

See the black box behind the intake ? That's what rida is talking about. Just check and replace the fuse. If it's not it, then probably wiring problem.

yeah i go through them like its nothing, course ive tinkered with everything about them, all my chargers and lights are hardwired now, and wired so that they are off when the cars off

Yeah in the future, don't hook anything up to the lighter

fixed it :D it was a fuse i never knew tht was a fuse box in there :P

Yeah I didn't know about that one till my dig lighter stopped working too :lol:

led gauges should be connected via wire splice, to a black ground wire, and a GRAY illumination wire.
(either from the gauge harness, or accessory lighting bulbs)
