Graphics opinion?

Hey guys just bought an 02 alero gx sedan. It has a neon green tribal graphic on the side of it and im trying to to decide whether to keep the graphic or take it off. almost positive its coming off its going to rain all weekend so i figured id see what everyone else thought. couldnt pass up the car for 1700

pretty much the response i expected lol. ill be taking the graphic off once it quits raining. spoiler has to stay til i can afford a stock one though. like i said bought the car like this, even as is its an upgrade from my previous car.

the graphic has to go... the spoiler... eh... it would only (and still a very big maybe) fit if you got the AAS body kit.

but it depends on the image you want your car to have.

its the 3400 si. will be buying the aas kit once i have the money (still in high school lookin for a job lol) a little surface rust ill be repairing when i remove the graphic. underside is fairly clean remarkable since i live in ny.

Pretty decent car for the money. You should have bought mine for 2000 bucks and saved yourself the trouble of having to remove the wing and graphics, I would have done it for ya. LMAO

yea i sarted out with a 97 blazer my dad got for 600 dollars traded it for a 200 sunfire gt (dont ask) kept that for a few months then sold it for 1700 and bought my alero. i finally have a car worth putting some money into lol

I had a miled out 93 Cavalier, rusty with peeling clear coat. Then a few months after I graduated I got my Alero and it's been a blast.

I don't mind the style of the vinyl too much. If it were not neon green it would be better. Like gray or silver would have been a lot better.

I would ditch it though.

wings gotta stay guys i cant afford a new trunk lid and the holes where the wing is mounted to are different from where the stock spoiler will mount so ill just work on getting a body kit for it so it wont look out of place.

IMO: search around in junkyards for that new trunk lid...even if you find one without the spoiler. Just having anything extra on a car in high school is just asking for trouble, even if you are a cool guy with no enemies. there's some real dicks out there....don't give them bait. (of course, it can wait until the budget catches up)

haha speak of which my last car was a 2000 sunfire gt and i was giving my friend a ride home so when i went to stop this asshole rear ended me did 3000 in damages just so the kid he had in his car could jump my friend. so pretty much im not going to worry about that it happens whether your cars junk or a work of art lol

Who cares what other people think on here?
If you like it, keep it.

But if you want my opinion,
Lose the wing, they are a little too bulky for the stock body.
The graphic would look much better if you based the theme of the car around it. Maybe a body kit, rims, paint your calipers green, etc etc

i plan on getting a body kit as soon as i have the money i have grand am mirrors on the way, i have a basic idea of what i want to do and as it is right now the wings going to stay. graphics a little too much for me though lol.

IMO, hood scoops on our cars, NEVER look good. (even functional ones) Functional ones serve purpose... those serve nothing... to anyone....ever.

rims don't flow with anything.
the flames don't make you quicker, just make people laugh faster
the chrome door lining only works on cars with other chrome accents (window lining doesn't count)
wing is attrocious


what theme are you going for with that? Just adding crap you can afford, with the leftovers of each paycheck?

Now that, that is over with...let me say that you should take those off because they look bad. Second remove that chrome trim....I hate that stuff. Third the wing looks very bad, and the mud flaps.....well...take those off too. The hood scopes could work but it just looks like the car has had every discount item that autozone, pepboys, and advance sells. Please don't take criticism the wrong way but thats just my opinion.

Take off the wing and graphic, clear corners and paint bezel black, tint windows, polish the rims, slap on some GT side mirrors and your car will look nice.

The Spoiler is an invader wing if i'm not mistaken i have the same one. I like it so i would keep the wing and get a kit sometime. but really ditch the graphics.
