Which power steering pump???

Ok so the pump in my 2001 alero is going out and I need to know about the actual pumps themselves, so does my car have the NV7 steering option on it or does that really matter? Any help would be awesome

You have been told how to find out, go look in your engine bay, if there is a wire connector going into you pump you have an nv7 one which I am betting you do. My 01 had one.

If you need the NV7, that's great I have the pump for you. If you don't have the NV7, I'm not sure if there will be an issue running an NV7 pump on your car or not. Someone else would have to answer that.

Ok so the reason I was asking was that I'm in school and was hoping that somebody would have a foresure answer for me

The pump I have is an NV7 as well. I am 90% sure that yours is a variable pump.
