Ok so i finally got everything setup in my alero. its an Fi BL 12" 1000rms dual 2 ohm setup with an MB Quart 1000.1 discus amp. the box was made by a guy out in medina that ryan from ohio knows named bill. i fucked it up when i was installing it. note the torn up carpet xD. the cd on the box is to show how big it actually is. also i have a quick question... below is where the plastic and the metal of the trunk meet - since ive gotten this setup, the light above the license plate with the 194 bulb rattles violently and keeps dying and ive gone through about 3 this week.. and been pulled over 3x. any way besides the obvious layers of dynamat to stop that from rattling so hard?

Box looks killer, what's the depth on the port?
Can you make up an LED system to use instead of the bulb?

I'd start with a 194-base LED. No work required.

i had the same issue, not the light burning out, but the loud rattling..
If you stick like a flathead screwdriver in between that space, obove the plate, it prys down, and i put a piece of rubber weather stripping in it, and it stopped vibrating instantly. the piece was grey so i got some car touch up paint and matched it to the body.
hope that helps you, if you have questions just pm me. id be glad to help

x2, why? that kinda kills the purpose a lil bit of a good built box. buy a cheap $2 plate and mount it to the back of the box so its correct, and seal that hole in the op up good.

well i've had my 18" in for a week now with the heavilly dynamat'd panel in the trunk lid and its not as loud, but i have noticed its getting really loose the plastic clips that hold that on wear out quick. i'de also recommend using a shit-ton of weather strip around any and all peices that come close to each other. the whole panel is easy to remove all u need is pliers to pinch the little plastic clips in theres about 8 total. then it pops right off.

as for the wires coming out the top... thats the way bwcad1 had it set up. thats the only place for the wires to come out and i dont have the tools to make a spot for a terminal
