ok i searched but didnt find anything, sometimes when i shift from park to reverse i can hear this little chirping sound, i guess if the car can talk this is what it would say if someone pinched it... anyone heard of this? i have a 2.4 auto

mine just goes BANGGGGGGGG but yet i do have the B&M turned on....LOL
it should not chirp. maybe have fluid level checked or change fluid.

automatic trans have "bands" in there that adjust shifting it could need a adjustment, if ur under warrenty id go to a dealer, or ur fluid is low

The bands in the 4T40/45E are not adjustable. And there is when you shift to Reverse a band comes, on but when shifting to D4 at a stop, there is not a band coming on.
Don't listen to pimpslayer on this one, if you go to the dealer and ask them to do as he says, you might as well get your Kanuter Valve and Exhaust bearings checked at the same time.

i have no idea what you guys are talking about so i'm just gonna let it be and it only seems to happen when my g/f drives the car maybe the car is saying holla to my girl :P
