So I went dragging again last night. The conditions at the track weren't bad, but the air temp was really warm. I could only get 15.7......4 times. My best was a 15.72 :pissed: .

Oh well. I was getting some wicked wheel hop, and the other two times I went and got 15.5 and 15.4 it was like 7-10 degrees cooler. (15-20 degrees American)

Anyway, once I get my digital camera back today, I'll post some pics.

I went drag racing this past weekend with my Grand Am/Grand Prix club again. I had a blast as usual. I took off my 17' rims awhile ago and I am back on my 15' rims. I didn't beat me PB cause of the horrible wheel spin I kept getting.

My best run was a 15.555 and I had 3 other runs in the 15.5's, about 5 in the 15.6's and many more in the 15.7's. We had a bracket racing challenge in which I made it to the semi's.....but then broke out. I had a huge lead and ran a 15.629 when I was dialed in at a 15.660. I shoulda tapped the brakes at the end since I had a big lead, but oh well. It was still fun.

I think I have hit a wall right now time wise until I either upgrade my tires, or get some new mods.

a 15.5xx is a good run man...i gotta try a run with stock 15's instead of my chrome 18's...should make a lil difference i think...

got any other pics or no?

Sorry I read the post wrong.

15 to 20 degrees is a lot. Don't let it get you down. I ran a 15.41 on a 61 degree day but I run 15.80 on a 90 degree day. Humidty plays a bigger factor though

Again 3rd amber, trust me, you'll be very happy. Daytona will say the same

I'm actually leaving between the second and third amber. Clocks are dialed in at .500
Any of my reaction times below .500 are too fast (I think I got a .493).

I'll post my slips when I get home, I got a .512 and a .522 Those were my best reactions. A guy in my class got a .500 TWICE. I couldn't beleiv he had a perfect reaction twice.

Yeah, .05 off :pissed:

Oh well, I still can't believ that 1993 Quad4 Grand Am did a 15.33........even if it had much of the interior missing

St. Thomas Dragway, huh? Looks like US-13 in Delmar, Delaware and Cecil Dragway in MD. I guess IHRA isn't going to the new digital light system like the NHRA tracks have all had to convert to last year. A perfetc light drops from .500 to .000 and the ambers don't come on and go off as slowly. Totally screws with your RT's the first day or 2 that you're running the lights.
