Woohoo.. my RIX magazine feature is out. It will be in stores (on the EAST Coast). They are an east coast magazine. Oneday they will be a nationwide magazine.

Hopefully someone will put up a scan when it comes out. I'm sure this is the first time an Alero has appeared in a real magazine before!

na, ritchie's had it in at least one if not more before. and I think Robbie's (original Aftermath) had made it in before as well.

I'm finding out exactly how much work it takes to get close to the level your alero was at. I can definitely appreciate the work.

Well I don't live in the east coast but if someone will buy and ship it for me (I'll obviously pay) p.m. me. I'm not sure how much they are but $10 sound good?

Its the newest issue. Number 28. It has the blue pontiac G8 or the white Acura TL on the cover. (there is 2 different covers for the issue). The website again is www.rixmag.com (http://www.rixmag.com) (you can view the 2 different covers).

All you east coast guys.. the magazine is a New York/New Jersey based. So you guys can get the issues at your local newstands or stores. Get the others an issue if you can. My own personal issue isn't even mailed to me yet.

I think its badass! I want like 3 or 4 copies of it. I tried to find a contact link on their site, but I couldn't find it. (I'm viewing from my cell phone so that might be why)
Can't wait to see it. If someone picks up some copies, get me a couple at least, and ill pay for em plus shipping. Id really appreciate it.
Now I really need to push to put the air ride back in.

Just got off the phone with Vee from RIX. They're sending me 6 copies of the issue. Said it'd be here in 3 to 5 business days! So for any of you non eastcoasters that want a copy, call em up. She was super nice, and they were 7 bucks each including postage. The number is 9089648094. Can't wait to get mine.

Thanks bro. I had a feature for PAS Mag (performance auto & sound) as well, but I had to turn it down cuz I had already started parting out some of the car before I sold it as a whole. So that kinda sucked, I wonder if they'll use the same pics. LOL .. i doubt it tho.

Arrival blue (its a GM color, but I added in some more pearl in it)

Photoshop.

You take 2 of the same pic at the same spot. one of the trunklid open, one with the trunk closed. then you blend both pics together.

Got my copies of the mag on monday. They were super quick to get here. Cool mag too. The article was good, and really speaks well about Richies work on this car. Since I bought it, people have asked if it was done well by Richies or if there was a lot of hidden stuff that photos don't show, and Honestly, this car is top notch. Sure, there are a couple chips and hairline cracks, but this car is 100% quality. Everything has been touched on, and flows very well together. Can't wait to see his next project. I'll be holding on to this one fo a while.
