Hello everyone! i'm Stasha. I live in MN and of course currently freezing lol...i just bought a 2001 alero from a friend 2 days ago. i love the car but already having issues :huh: and now it wont turn on and is sitting in a parking lot grr...luckily he's going to come see whats goign on. anyways look forward to getting to know you all :)

Welcome. and your problem is most likeyly the pass lock.does it turn over and just not start or does it not even turn over?

did you go back out later and try again? the passlock likes to act up sometimes on these cars. or with cold weather it could be batt or starter thoses are the only basic things though. all that stuff is easy to fix though, at least on the 2.4 the starter is easy. what engine do you have?

Thank you guys! lol i'm still around. Just was not around yesterday was out working on the car getting it fixed...and YAY it's working again yippee...lol yes i'm a she...i'll add pics in a few i'll have to go take some...i'm from Rosemount...and yes it's great isnt it lol 8 inches and a deep freeze so much fun. and to cherry bring it on kid :) i can do karate style :)

wow that was huge!!! and yes i'm still talking about the weather with the 8 inches lol i went to put on my seat covers after i took the picture but they wont fit with the seatbelt holders on the seat :( grrr i'll have to see if i can get those off later...do the head rests come off so i can pull it off?

i beg to differ. one who is well trained in karate will stomp all over one who is a "street fighter". no matter the size or "rep" a well trained person can defend themselves well and defense is the key to a fight. "street fighters" = nothing
against one with brains and training ...

Wow yours looks almost exactly like mine same color, same rims, same year, same engine, and heck no spoiler too. The only difference is mine isn't missing the center cap and it doesn't have snow on it.
