wiring runnung lights as brake lights

Okay so tonight i was looking and i wanna wire my running lights in with my brake lights. i noticed on the brake light bulb socket there is three wires running to it and on the running light bulb socket there is only two. i was thinking if i went and got two brake light bulb sockets with three wires running to them and wired them to the brake light harness it should work. any forseen problems with this? any advice?

Are you thinking about doing something like the Land Rovers have in the bumpers?

If you are I suggest doing that to the tails on the trunk, that would look sweet :D

no im saying i wanna wire the running lights that are on the trunk lid in with the brake
lights that are on the quarter panel.

So you want all of your rear red lights to light up when you hit the brake. There's a thread on this. Trying to find it.
