New England Meet in Worcester [Archive]

Hey guys. Nate and I were talking and I guess were going to do a meet tomorrow 12-12-09 in Worcester at the Auburn Mall off of the Mass Pike (I-90). Its on Route 12 in Auburn MA. Heres the site for the mall:http://www.simon.com/mall/?ID=332. Heres the address, 385 Southbridge Street Auburn , MA 01501, its exit 10 off the Mass Pike or exit 9 off 290. We might just eat at the mall somewhere, but we might find some other place around there. We can meet in the parking lot outside of Macys on the upper level of the parking garage near the yellow and red stairs/walkway thingy. I guess we can meet up around 1PM, but I might be a little late as I have to help my dad with a cradle swap on a Venture. Let us know if you have any other ideas, or if your going.

I was just thinking up near Macys because that's where my family always parks when we go shopping there, but if there's something that's easier please, let me know. There's a smaller shopping strip mall, (by the looks of it) that we can initially meet up at, then go from there? Called Federal Plaza Shopping Center which I cant get a street address for, but its right next to the mall, on RT 12, or Southbridge St.

Well as of right now, my dad changed his mind again, and is saying that cradle swap on the Venture is going to take too long and now were not starting until noontime, so I cant go. Trust me, I want to be there but hes just being himself. If this is going to change peoples plans I'm really sorry, believe me, I'm pretty pissed off about it.

Does anyone want to re-schedule?

I know the only two other people from my area are about two hours away. It makes it hard to have meets when there aren't that many people in your area and the ones that are aren't really all that close.

Alright let me sum today up. So we got there, finally met up, walked around the mall, ate some food, talked some more, went outside, I locked my keys in my car while it was running, so then all three guys stood around outside with me in the pouring rain for about three hours trying to help me get back into my car to no avail. My dad ended up coming down with my spare key. That's not the point though, these are three people I have never met in my life, and our only common interest is our Aleros. So if that isn't dedication then I don't know what is. You guys made me laugh (pretty hard) when I was bummed and down about the whole situation, and that's pretty hard to do. We had some good laughs and learned quite a lot about how you should carry a spare key and some of the consequences if you don't, lol. I just wanted to say thanks guys for standing out there with me and trying to help me out, I really appreciate it! Looks like I made some new friends today, and I look forward to traveling out to ASS with you guys! Thanks again....

Props Nate for not leaving a fellow Alero owner stranded on the side of the expressway. Well from the sound of it it wasn't exactly the best day to have a meet.
