I have been wanting a remote start, close to getting one.

But if i am correct PASSlock did infact have a remote start interface correct? if so could i just replace the module currently in my car with that one right? or would i need a whole new system and bypass for the Passlock

theres a module or relay... or something you gotta put in line to prevent the passlock from getting in the way.

search the site. i think soundxtreme posted about it a few times.

or get the resistance of the key, and put an inline resistor to make the passlock look like it has the key in it...

That's what was done to mine for my Ultra alarm/RS to work. Its referred to as a resister "pack", in my paperwork at least. Basically that way, the PASSLock sees a "key" in all the time, that way the car can start.

If you need all the part numbers I can get them for you, Remote starts are actually fairly easy, just time consuming. Let me know if you need help with anything, I got you :)

I used the DEI 555L module... was pretty universal to wire in IIRC... can be had for like $20 on ebay.
