theft lock radio

Does my 2001 3.4 need a special code entered to dis-able the radio anti-theft feature? And if so, where do I find the code? I just want to disconnect my battery to safely disconnect the alternator.

It probably won't lock, they usually lock if it goes into a different car (different VIN)

If it does lock, there are ways to unlock it. Google it. There is a 1-800 number you call to do it

he means the theftlock code set by an owner...

mine had it... and i played with stuff, and got it unlocked
