Step 1: take out the 3rd brake light lens and you have to cut out the red lens as close to the edge as possible.....use a dremel for this.

Then take the lens out and smooth out the edges on the inside....

Step 2: cut out your clear lens.

Step 3: Glue everything together, seal, and paint the border so it looks cleaner.

Some people might not want it to be quite as transparent. If that is the case, use a thicker clear lens and scuff up one or both sides with some sand paper or steel wool. This will make it look more like one long light as opposed to 3 smaller ones.

ya but it`s what i wanted him to do
i wanted a clear light so you could see the blues leds bulbs i have inside the 3rd light

what kind of clear lens did you use? and does any place rent out dremels :P

dood, buy a dremmel. They're only like $40 for the non-dremel-brand version... and very handy!
