Hi guys,

Just to be sure,

I just unscrew the 3 lenses from the outside, and then try to pull them out entirely from the outside? I do not have to do anything on the inside of the trunk lid (there is no room to work)

Thanks!

Eelco

True, but there are 3 separate lenses (each fastened with two screws) with 3 separate 194 bulbs, right? I wanna put in LEDs, so I never have to replace them again.

And they do have to be pulled out from the outside?

He's in a different country. It might be a different set up.

Yeah, it's all done from the outside. Just remove the two screws for each lamp that needs to be replaced and work the whole assembly out.

Technically his has six screws. Export models have 3 license plate lamps.

I thought the same thing for a second, Nate until I realized he;s in Eurpoe

I actually never undo the screws, but it's a PIA to do it that way. In the future I'm undoing the screws. Last time I changed the plate bulb was 6 years ago when I didn't know any better

Well, to be honest, I never have seen a car in Europe that had three bulbs...two is normal here, due to the ugly big plates.

So I had to get three LED replacements.
I will replace them tomorrow, if the weather is cooperative. It is snowing like hell here now.

Have to do it all out on the street.....
