About a week ago I had Intrax spings and KYB shocks installed and since then I get a clunk or a thud noise when I turn the wheel. It does this if the car is stopped and I turn the wheel and also goig around corners at a slow speeds. I had it aligned and they told me that it may just need to settle in, but this is worrying me.
Anyone with Intrax spings had similar problems?

Yea. Who installed them?? There is a flat spot and a notch on the upper spring seat that needs to be in-line with the front of the spindle/brake assembly. When I changed out my springs i didnt do this and that clunking was the two bearing plates popping in and out of trac. This wore nasty grooves in the bearing plates. I bought all new hard ware and made sure that the flat spot is faceing in-line(paralell with the strut to spindle bolts) and havent had a prob since.

yea, poop aint seated right. its not the bearing plates that are clunking probably. its the lack of turning since the bearing isnt sitting right on the upper mount and instead the spring turns and catches making a clunking sound

How long did it take to settle? I don't know if I should wait and continue to drive it or have it checked out right away.

when my car was sitting on level ground, i loosened my topplate bolts and turned my wheels full right full left and back to center then tightened them back down to spec, all in all it took aprox a month! its all good now, are you running strut tower braces?

i fixed mine by jackin the front up and turning the wheel left and right several times.

Thanks for the help guys. I don not have strut tower braces. Should I have some?
I didn't want take it in and have it cost me more money. Intrax should say this in the insturctions.
So it should be safe for a couple of days then?
