so i was on the ecotec forum when i ran across this thread

http://www.ecotecforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=11161

basically people drill holes in their valve covers and install vents to help release the pressure. now these people do it to there cars that make alot of power and they actually notice it running better and stuff.

my question, would it help a na car with normal mods. i dont see why it would hurt.

i would use something like these
http://www2.dana.com/pdf/APSL-0016.pdf

they are breathers that i use on semi trucks.

thoughts?

I would suggest reading up a bunch ask a few of the guys on EF and see how that goes.

Also Skunks engine is built for high horsepower it's not just the usual forged internals and such, it's sleeved and he's running a huge Precision 6262SP turbo and a ton of other mods.

EDIT: Extra ventilation is always good but it would be more bennefical with a boosted engine.
