So Im sitting in my car in a parking lot when some guy in his truck backs into me. I get out as the effing guy is starting to pull away, he looks at me and says "Oh did I hit you?" Umm Ya you did lol.

All in all they guy is gonna pay for damages. Not much damage more or less some paint taken off the rear bumper but it looks like crap.

maybe a slight dent, but nothing that won't be able to just come out that small. the rest will buff out, might be a few scratches tho.

I know the majority will buff out, but there are two spots where u can really see the black from the bumper. So its missing a lil paint. Like I said above, not much damage and the guy is willing to pay to get it fixed.

He damn sure better be willing to pay. If not he should let you and 100 shopping carts have fun with his truck.

it doesnt look that bad, usally scuffs like this i try the easiest way first which would be taking laquer thinner to get off what ya can, dont worry it evaporates instantly and keep rubbing see what comes off

if nothing, then i would do this, wet sand with 1500, going lightly and stoping to see how much of the marks are coming off, if you have a buffer then you buff out the area, if all the marks are gone and ya have just a small scrape left

you can touch it up, lightly sand with 2000, touch it up, let ie dry, lightly sand, apply more touch up paint, apply touch up clear, sand it again, apply more clear then buff

thats a cheap easy fix

Doesn't look that bad.

See if the body shop will let you drive the car around while the bumper's being repainted.

wooooooooooow:lol: thats stupid money for the small repair that it is.....i hope they plan on at least blending the qtrs for that money....bdy do u agree with me on the price being outrageous....its not like the bumper needs to be replaced...if there is a dent it could be heated up and popped out then the body work. idk we've fixed bumpers that were a lot worse than that for a lot cheaper. Good luck., it sucks when ur car doesnt look perfect i know how it feels believe me lol.

I completely understand why it cost so much, I was in Auto body for many years. They are gonna take off the bumper cover, blow in the base, and then clear the whole bumper. The only thing I don't understand is that they told me it would take 2 1/2 days. But if they are busy then I could understand. At least the other scratches by the trunk will be gone. :D

This looks almsot identical to my car. Haha except i have the same scratch on the drivers side fender. not exactly sure how it got there, the previous owner did it =/. i would take it to a repair shop you trust, atleast thats what i did and it came out really well.

2 and a half days? Our mouths water when we get bumper jobs like that.....we always make them 0 dayers....helps with the cycle time. The better cycle time-more cars.;)

Could just take the money and either get a bumper from junk yard or say f it and try and clean it up a bit.

650 is cheap, do you think labor is free, material is free, it amaze`s me that people think we just touch the car with our magic wand and its magically fixed for free or dirt cheap
