This is the official post for the RPM car show on July 10th downtown at Soldier field. Rich Goodwin, the original creator of HIN is coming out with another show series to revive the industry! Along with Rich is Andy Goodwin and myself from (NCCA/F4 Challenge). We had a successful run last year with D1GP and now we are doing our own thing and couldn't be more excited to debut it in Chicago!
RPM is Performance based car show. It welcomes any modified or high end performance vehicles into its fold. The show is all about the enthusiasts, who work hard on their cars to make this scene what it is. Frustrated with the way the national shows like HIN have devolved, RPM is a step back to the spirit and feel of the original HIN.
GRD has been kind enough to bring out their mobile dyno for those who want to enter for a few hp challenges! So all you Hp freaks, now is your chance to shine! Classes will be announced very shortly.
We're taking the car show scene back to the days when a car show was fun! 400 cars and vendors doing what they do best. So far for entertainment we have Pauly D from Jersey shore and we're in talks with other acts and dj's. I'll post details as they become available.
This is an F4 sanctioned event and we are making this show personal. If you have a car club that wants to show, please contact me and if you have 10 cars or more for a single group I can get you a $5 off code through the website. Also if you need space I'm always available and can work with your team to accommodate you.
We are also looking for all you local vendors as well. If you have a shop and want to get a booth to advertise and sell please contact me. We have space available and what better way to get your name out there than to have a booth at the biggest car show of the year here in Chi!
Some special features of the show include:
There are VIP tickets available with special access at the show.
For pre registered competitors, there is a slew of stuff for you guys! Upgraded VIP passes and free swag, such as event emblems and commemorative lanyards.
There are multiple awards classes for competitors, and more that can be added as more people register for the event.
In addition to regular classes ,they have a few specialty ones lines up.
Sit-n-Flush Award - How flush can you go? This year we're introducing the Sit-n-Flush award for those who took the time to get that perfect fitment!
Unique Carbon Fiber Award - This award is going to be handed out to the vehicle that utilizes carbon fiber the best. A hood is nice, but how far does your creativity for cf go? So if you have one off carbon fiber parts, here is your chance to shine!
White Glove competition! The judges are selecting the 6 cleanest cars of the event, and then doing a white glove competition to crown the best detailed car of the event. Winner gets a specialty plaque and $100!
