quick question on instr. panel light

well i was driving today (03 alero) and quickly glanced down to see a red light on my panel light up so i went to give it a better look but it went off before i managed to notice what it actually was and its to dark to see at the moment, it was a red light possibly square-ish? towards the left side. i dont have a manual for my car and spent like 15 mins trying to download 1 on the net but figured it'd be easier just to ask on here. any info on what it was appreciated, thanks

Low coolant light.

Was it right next to the tach?

what engine? check your coolant and oil

ya, i know when my oil is a bit low, and i take a corner too hard, the light comes on for a split second, and the 3 "dings" go off.
