i was wanting to know if anyone has ever tried re-routing the cables from the hatch in the trunk to make it possible to pull down the seats from inside the car. Is it possible? Thanx

Someone in this thread has done it, I am sure they can help you out.

undo the cables from in the trunk and feed both of them thru the baby seat clip on the back dash. Attach them here with a small zip tie on each(the ones made of plastic that you can only use once, you tighten them and they lock), and tighten them really tight to the end of the cable sheath , where theres a little bit of a lip. If you get them right you can reach over your drivers seat to the back dash and give them a tug to release the seat. that's the way i did mine, have had them like that for 4 years now. Just drop the seats when i wanna slam the tunes!

Okay, i just reuphostered my back dash today and decided to take a better look at the cables. I changed the setup a little bit. what i did this time was take the cable connected to the latch on the passenger side (40% pulldown) and put it on the other latch for the drivers side (60%pulldown). This allowed me to pull down the drivers side rear seat a little easier by just turning around, and the passengers side pulldown is now attached to the middle babyseat clip, still within easy reach. Both are still attached with the little black zip ties. I like this setup better, and i don't have to worry about my subs getting stolen thru the cab because theres no way my box will fit thru the hole in the back seat :D
