i kinda want the light to still shine through

i'm sure the light would shine through even if you just put a light coat on.
another thought... maybe try pulling red needles from a car that has read needles. and see if they will fit on. just a thought. try to find some the same size

it may sound stupid, but used a red sharpie along the top of the needle, worked out fine.

Though I would recommend using a spare cluster so u don't fubar the only one u have

Or... just change the bulbs in your cluster to red or blue to match the gauges, and for the daytime, scrape/sand off the white paint on the back of the needles and repaint the back only the matching colour.

I looked at glowshift.com and I hope you can forgive my ignorance, but I can't locate a cluster pod that is for the alero. Any help or direction? They have the 7-color and the 10-color and I really can't tell the differences between them. Seems they only have it for individual pods too...I don't know. Not sure what I'm looking for and I'm sleepy.

Is there an info thread for installing the dual pod and their guages at all?

What size bulbs and where can they be located? Don't really want to paint or scribble on my needle...
