i got a 2000 parts alero and wanna take the keyless entry out for mine where is it located on these cars?

The RKE receiver is on the rear shelf not too far from the trunk light. snapped in from the top.

I checked the spare tire cover and the AU0 code is there, but I don't see a receiver where you said to look. Can you see it from inside the trunk or do I have to take my car apart to find it? I have an 01 GL coupe.

You can only see the little edges of the clips from in the trunk. It's only completely visible from the topside.

yeah im gonna get an alarm with keyless cause the used car dealership i got my ho from never got the original keys or key pads so i get to start over with new stuff which isn't that bad i guess i'll get a better alarm out of the deal
