my steering wheel and shifter are quite dirty and could use a good cleaning. has anyone else done this before? i found this (http://www.metroguardian.net/shop/leather-vinyl-cleaner-by-crypton-c-9-p-85.html), but dont know how well it would work, or if i should go for a conditioning type product. any help would be good. thanks.

I used Zaino's leather cleaner on my Jag and it works really well. It was the first thing mom noticed when I gave it back to her last year... Just warm water and dilute Dawn will work on most leather and vinyl, too, just be sure to rinse and then condition it.

ftw

but lexol is the best stuff out their, don't listen to any of these other people that are sucked into corporate name black holes and can't get past the name......

anywhoo, this stuff is awesome, i use it to conditions the leather seats in the bravada, my boots, and we also use it on the horse tack (saddles and what not for the city folk)

You need both bottles, the brown and orange....clean it religiously with a damp cloth using warm water, wipe clean, then use the orange bottle which is a cleaner and follow up with a healthy dose of the brown bottle conditioner

i'd listen to the cowboy. he deals w/ more leather just getting dressed in the morning, then the rest of us see in a lifetime.
