:pissed: :( grrr...... driving home from florida to detroit im driving behind a semi so i decide to pass it the second i go to switch lanes a different semis tire well the outer part you get what i mean though, decide to be right in front of me so i had really no option by the time i saw it. well i hit it and i get it home now my bumpers cracked and partially broken off, the parking block hitter piece has came off and to top it all off im leaking gas :pissed: what a way to end a trip. So now its in the shop and im with out a car for who knows how long but the only good thing is i have to pay nothing insurance is covering it all even the deductable. this really sucks....

the worst would be JB Hunt, i think the training school is something like "all you gotta do is find first gear after that just hit the gas and wiggle the shifter around"
i used to manage the c-store at a truck stop so im speaking from experience here

yah there isnt really visible damage beyond the fact the passengers side of the bumper is coming off. sux tho when i looked under and see a big puddle of gas.... just have to wait and see how long its gonna be in the shop hopefully have it next week sometime. I was in tennessee on 75 between chatanooga and knoxville.

What I hate most about them is they tend to kick up rocks which are attracted to windshields.

This is from a guy who has a CDL
A lot of these truck drivers drive like that own the road, and at 50 tons they pretty much can get away with it. It all depends on the driver, if he is a good driver, he won't need to use the size of his truck to get ahead.
Be sure that driveing behind a truck that you can see his mirrors. If you can't see the mirrors, he can't see you. When getting in front of a truck, be sure you can see all the wheels on one side and the headlights before getting in front of it. If you just cut them out or tailgate them, they will give you poop

Well, Ken, for a guy with a CDL in PA, I REALLY hope you're not lugging around 50 tons. That equals 100,000 lbs, and the state limit is 80,000!! :D
